In the Universal World, when we are talking about Montage, we are basically talking about film. It is very closely related to editing, but let’s take it from the start. What is montage, and why it has such an important part in the way the modern world communicates ideas?
Montage: “The production of a rapid succession of images in a motion picture to illustrate an association of ideas.”

Without a mixture and a coalition of different ideas, it would be just editing. During the session, 5 methods of montage were highlighted:
- Metric
- Rhythmic
- Tonal
- Overtonal
- Intellectual
